A VERY DARK 24H

2022 24H Series

It was a very dark 24 Hours of Dubai, despite the excellent premises. Our two GT3 R cars were the absolute protagonists both in the qualifying sessions and in the first part of the race: the #54 blue car driven by Minsky-Dienst-Sultanov-Seefried-Bachler and the #67 gold car driven by Pampanini-Calamia-Monaco-Cairoli both had an excellent start and in the first hours of the race they occupied the top positions, alternating also in the lead thanks to two different strategies. Two accidents, however, stop our race: the #54 is out at the fifth hour, the #67 at the eighth.

E’ stata una 24 Ore di Dubai decisamente nera, nonostante le ottime premesse. Le nostre due GT3 R sono state protagoniste assolute sia nelle qualifiche sia nella prima parte di gara: la #54 blu di Minsky-Dienst-Sultanov-Seefried-Bachler e la #67 oro di Pampanini-Calamia-Monaco-Cairoli hanno entrambe un ottimo spunto al via e nelle prime ore di gara occupano le posizioni di vertice, alternandosi anche in testa in virtù di due differenti strategie. Due incidenti, però, costringono entrambi gli equipaggi alla resa: la #54 è out alla quinta ora, la #67 all’ottava.
