GTWC, A FABULOUS CLOSING

2021 GT World Challenge

It was a race in crescendo the one that closed the GTWC in Barcelona and that gave us the joy of the podium with the crew Bachler-Cairoli-Engelhart. As usual, the start was very excited with the safety car on track after 5 minutes: Engelhart did well to stay out of any possible unexpected situation. Positions stabilized, Bachler gets into the car in fifth position that, due to some penalties, turns into third place. It's Cairoli's turn for the final and the driver from Como is a certainty: with a stunning overtaking he gets the second place and keeps it until the checkered flag. Well also the other crew Dumas-Pedersen-Rizzoli that closes in the twenty after a great comeback.

E’ stata una gara in crescendo quella che ha concluso il GTWC a Barcellona e che ci ha regalato la gioia del podio con l’equipaggio Bachler-Cairoli-Engelhart. Partenza come di consueto molto concitata con safety car in pista già dopo cinque minuti: bravo Engelhart a stare fuori da ogni possibile imprevisto. Posizioni stabilizzate con Bachler che sale in auto in quinta piazza che, per effetto di alcune penalizzazioni, si trasforma in terza. Tocca a Cairoli per il finale ed il comasco è una certezza: con un sorpasso funambolico si porta al secondo posto e lo mantiene sino alla bandiera a scacchi. Bene anche l’altro equipaggio Dumas-Pedersen-Rizzoli che chiude nei venti dopo una bella rimonta.
